It worked perfectly with Windows 8. I successfully installed Windows 8. All programs and apps appear to work fine except now when I wake up the laptop from sleep, the fan kicks into high gear and never stops running; and on the desktop, I get a message about the Catalyst Control Center has no settings or something to that effect.
I had never heard of the Catalyst Control Center before seeing this message nor do I know what the Catalyst Control Center does , and the fan never used run nonstop after waking the laptop from sleep. It can't be a coincidence that these two problems developed right after I installed Windows 8. Anyone have any ideas how to fix these issues? Right now, all I can do to make the fan slow down to its normal speed is to re-start the computer.
