Remove napster from media player 10

Attempts to actually contact them puts me in an endless loop back to the FAQ pages. I also sent a support request to Napster. We were able to locate a Napster Light account with 12 purchased tracks listed on it under the membername "xxxx" and the email address "xxxx xxxx. If these are the purchased tracks you are referring to and you copied them to this PC from the computer they were originally downloaded to then you will need to delete and redownload these tracks.

To do this please follow the steps listed below: 1. Where did this Napster stuff come from? Did Microsoft give it to me as an update to my Media Player? Does anybody have any feedback on what has happened and how to get rid of this?

I've taken a screenshot of it but I can't post it for some reason. Thanks in advance James. If the boxes in the pictures are checked - un check them. When media player is on-line and getting info for you some companies will try and offer you their services.

If you have not installed Napster you can get rid of it. Last edited: Mar 13, No jargon. Pictures helped. Didn't match my screen. Incorrect instructions. Too technical.

Not enough information. Not enough pictures. Any additional feedback? Back in Windows 7, the Windows Media Player is one of the most popular software. Windows Media Player can play most file types and even have some of the best file organization options. In fact, if needed, the Windows Media Player can even retrieve metadata for all your media files and organize them according to your settings. As good as it is, there are far better apps out there that do the job not only better but faster.

In fact, that is one of the reasons why Windows Media Player is not the default media player in Windows.
