Hi Tim, Thanks for the response. Yes Word is opening other rtf files without an issue. I have tried this multiple times now. I have copied the file as a whole and have also tried copying it section by section. We have tried both bit and bit versions, both have the same issue. I do not have the exact version number for the bit to hand, but I can get this for you if needed. I do not believe we are using any third party add-ins.
